Preview: Class Actress and Neon Indian (DJ Set) at the Echoplex + Free Tickets

Follow us on twitter: www.twitter.com/treeswingers for your chance to win free tickets. We’ll be giving them out Wednesday afternoon.

Los Angeles-based TILT magazine will be kicking off their Summer Concert Series next Friday at the Echoplex with an 18+ show headlined by upstart indie pop queen Class Actress and a Neon Indian DJ Set. Also performing at the inaugural summer show are electro-dance artists CFCF, who is making his LA debut, and LexiconDon as well as resident DJ’s Short Circuit and B.R.

With it beginning to heat up and school ending, the Echoplex event may be a perfect way to preempt any June gloom and kick off summer the right way. Doubt it? Listen to Class Actress’ “Let Me Take You Out” with its promises of downtown and dream pop guitar riffs and try not to smile.

Tickets can be bought on pre-sale here or here for $10 or at the door for $15. Treeswingers will also be giving away a pair of tickets to the show early next week. Follow us at twitter.com/treeswingers for your chance to get on the guest list for free.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
