There can be nothing more fulfilling than the combination of Future Island’s growling bass lines and lead singer’s melodramatic musings. Complete it with 80’s synth pop and it’s sheer bliss. On their latest release, “Cotton Flower,” the Baltimore trio flirt with extravagance–finding the perfect balance that made junior album On The Water so forceful–all while paying tribute to Ariel Panero of Less Artists More Condos fame.
“Cotton Flower” is the A-side of the second Less Artists More Condos 7″ release, following up an April installment from A Place To Bury Strangers. All digital proceeds go to the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1 Save the Music.
